Two earthquakes of magnitudes 4.6 and 6.2 struck Nepal at intervals of 25 minutes on Tuesday, causing strong tremors to shake the Delhi-NCR region and certain areas of North India. The capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, as well as the nearby cities of Hapur and Amroha all experienced the earthquakes, which lasted for around 40 seconds.
